CCM (Connecticut Conference of Municipalities)

The Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM) is Connecticut's statewide association of towns and cities. CCM is governed by a Board of Directors, elected by the member municipalities, with due consideration given to geographical representation, municipalities of different sizes, and a balance of political parties. Numerous committees of municipal officials participate in the development of CCM policy and programs. CCM has offices in New Haven (the headquarters) and in Hartford.

NECCOG (Northeastern Connecticut Council of Governments)

The Northeastern Connecticut Council of Governments (NECCOG), founded in 1987, is a voluntary, statutorily authorized association of local chief-elected officials representing twelve municipalities in northeastern Connecticut. The members towns are: Ashford, Brooklyn, Canterbury, Eastford, Killingly, Plainfield, Pomfret, Putnam, Sterling, Thompson, Union, and Woodstock.

Northeast CT Economic Alliance

Works directly with small business owners in Northeastern CT.

SCCOG (Southeastern Connecticut Council of Governments)

The Southeastern Connecticut Council of Governments (SCCOG) is a public agency with representatives from twenty towns, cities and boroughs formed to provide a basis for intergovernmental cooperation in dealing with a wide range of issues facing Southeastern Connecticut. The Council was organized in October of 1992, taking over the mission of the Southeastern Connecticut Regional Planning Agency (SCRPA), which had been existence since January 1961.

SCRRRA (Regional Resource Recovery Authority)

The Southeastern Connecticut Regional Resource Recovery Authority (SCRRRA) is made up of 12 cities and towns in Southeastern Connecticut. The Authority was created by legislative act in 1987 to implement solutions for solid waste, recyclables, household hazardous waste, and other waste materials.

SeCTER (Southeastern Connecticut Enterprise Region)

The Southeastern Connecticut Enterprise Region (seCTer) is a public-private regional economic development agency serving the towns of New London County Connecticut.
